Following the resort’s snowiest October on record with four feet of snow, Mother Nature and resort snowmakers have combined forces at Breckenridge Ski Resort to offer nearly 200 acres of terrain on Peak 8 for opening day on Friday, Nov. 8.

Breckenridge Ski Resort Announces Season is Extended until June 9

After a record-breaking winter season and an abundance of spring snowfall, Breckenridge Ski Resort announced today plans to extend the 2018-19 ski and snowboard season for two additional weekends beyond Memorial Day. The resort will remain open daily through Memorial Day, May 27 as planned, and then will shift to a weekend schedule, offering skiing and riding on Saturdays and Sundays June 1-2 and June 8-9, weather and conditions permitting.

While most ski resorts are beginning to ramp down operations this spring, Breckenridge Ski Resort’s spring season is just getting started! With more than 100 inches of snow in March and 380 inches of snow so far this season, skiers and riders can look forward to incredible spring conditions during the resort’s extended season, officially dubbed Breck’s Spring Finale.
