Breckenridge Ski Resort Announces Details for Summer Fun Park

 Breckenridge, CO – June 2, 2011 - The Breckenridge Fun Park is back and better than ever this summer, opening June 17th at the base of Peak 8 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, with new attractions and extended hours on the weekends.   Uniquely situated on the slopes, the Breckenridge Fun Park this summer will feature activities for all ages, including the Alpine SuperSlide, mountain biking, a SuperPutt Mini Golf course, Rockpile climbing wall, SuperBungee Trampoline, Ripperoo’s bounce house, gemstone panning, guided hikes, Colorado’s largest human maze, and more!  


Brand new featured attractions this year will also include the inaugural season of Breck 4x4 off-road tours, pony rides for kids, and the first warm-weather operations of the thrilling new GoldRunner Alpine Coaster!

The Breckenridge Fun Park will be open this year from June 17-Sept. 4 daily and weekends only from Sept. 9-18. Hours will be 10 am-6 p.m. and free parking will be available for guests in the Gondola North parking lot. Free shuttle buses will begin service from the gondola lot staring June 17, and the Gondola itself will start running with FREE service on July 1. Also new this summer, the Breckenridge Fun Park will extend weekend operating hours until 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from July 1 until August 13!  Guests will be able to purchase afternoon entry with the new Twilight Pass single day ticket, which is good for evening activities on the weekends.

Experience perfect summer mountain evenings at the park with the new Summer Fun Park Pass; this incredible value pass is valid Fridays and Saturday afternoons during the Breckenridge Fun Park regular season from July 1- Aug. 14. Enjoy unlimited weekend visits and rides on the Gold Runner Coaster, Alpine Slides, super trampoline, maze, mini golf, and other Fun Park attractions on the mountain at Peak 8 on weekend afternoons from 3-7:30 p.m. Also, the Summer Fun Park Pass gets you into the all-new Friday Afternoon Club events at the T-Bar and Saturday night Chuck Wagon Barbecues on the Ski Hill Grill patio! The Summer Fun Park Pass is available for $165 for adults, and $75 for kids.
