  • Breck Spring Fever Park Jam on Friday, April 3
  • Spring Fever Beer and Chili Cook Off at Sevens Restaurant
  • Sunrise Service and Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — April 15, 2014 — With snow in the forecast through Friday followed by a sun filled weekend - spring skiing is at its best as Breck’s Spring Fever Festival enters a third week of events. This weekend’s events include something for everyone from the Spring Fever Park Jam to Easter festivities on Sunday.

Sunday will be a family-filled day of Easter events, starting with a sunrise service on Peak 9, then an on-mountain Easter egg hunt on Peaks 8 and 9. This year, the on-mountain Easter egg hunt is exclusively for kids, with two fenced in areas on each peak for toddlers and kids 10 and younger.

The full line-up of this week’s Spring Fever events is as follows:

Friday, April 3
Spring Fever Park Jam in Freeway and Park Lane, Noon to 3p.m.
For the last three Fridays of Spring Fever, Breck parks will host rail jams in Freeway and Park Lane terrain parks. Come check out the competition and listen to some great tunes courtesy of DJ DC. The grill will be going with some free hot dogs. No sign-up is required, so anyone can compete! Prizes for winners include a $100 American Express gift card or a 2015-16 Epic Local Pass.

Saturday, April 4
Spring Fever Beer and Chili Cookoff at Sevens, Noon to 4p.m.
Sevens Restaurant will heat up on Saturday as the top chefs from Breck face off against each other to see whose recipe is best. Join the chefs on the Sevens patio starting at noon, indulge in all the chili you can handle and vote for your favorite recipe - all for only $20 per person. New this year, chefs will suggest a beer to pair with their chili! Tickets will be available on site at the event.

Sunday, April 5
Easter Sunrise Services at TenMile Station (via Quicksilver chair), 6-7a.m.
Be there for one of the most spectacular settings for an Easter service on Earth! At 6a.m. on Easter Sunday, load the Quicksilver lift (Peak 9) up to a special location for the free sunrise service. No lift ticket required; ski equipment will not be allowed up the chair.
