Breckenridge, Colo. – October 20, 2011 – Recent developments within Breckenridge Hospitality including the opening of One Ski Hill Place, A RockResort and the soon to open DoubleTree by Hilton™ Breckenridge, have brought with them exciting changes in the sales and marketing teams. The DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge appointed David Sudduth, who has been the director of sales and marketing for Breckenridge Hospitality for five years, to the same position at the new resort. In his place, Breckenridge Hospitality has hired Brandy Sawyer to oversee group, catering and leisure sales for the destination’s lodging operation.
Most recently, Brandy served as corporate director of sales for Sage Hospitality in Denver, Colorado where she executed strategy for the properties within the portfolio. Previously, she held a number of positions within Sage Hospitality and Marriott International, including director of sales and marketing for Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center and senior sales manager for Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown. Before his role with Breckenridge Hospitality, David spent nine years at Keystone Resort as group sales manager and associate director of sales. He has 23 years of hospitality industry experience.
“I am very pleased to welcome Brandy Sawyer to the Breckenridge Hospitality team. With her experience working for top hotel brands, I know she’ll bring strong leadership to the group,” said David Abraham, Vice President of Breckenridge Hospitality. “David Sudduth continues to be an important part of the team here and I am confident in his success working on the new DoubleTree by Hilton.”
