It's a snowy afternoon in Breckenridge, Colorado!
Maybe you saw the stunning Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability photo over Breckenridge last Friday, Oct. 30?
Kathryn Prociv of described it as “the BEST Kelvin-Helmholtz (or, “KH”) clouds I have EVER seen.”
In even bigger news, in the last 24 hours Breckenridge Ski Resort has received 15 inches of snow and the snow continues to fall. Opening day for the 2015-2016 winter ski and snowboard season is only one week away – Friday, Nov. 13.
